I came to the understanding after decades of research, and testing that scriptures contains a wealth of information - actually a gold mine.
God has hidden in the pages of his book keys anyone could apply under the right condition and understanding to produce great results. Inside God's Word are great wisdom, and keys to living a successful life.
I also realized that riches, wealth and long life is for everyone if we can just do the needful!
It will do us a lot of good to stop the blame game by taking responsibility for our lives.
There are wealth building principles hidden in Scriptures that anyone can apply to their lives that would open doors never imagined before.
See beyond the challenges
It doesn't matter if those you thought should believe in you do not, and if they agree with your ideas or not, trust God with the process, He is bound to keep his word and will open the right door to you when you decides to apply the keys hidden in his word in your life.
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. (Luke 13:19)
As long as the earth remains there shall be seed time and harvest time. Opportunities abound, hidden and presented as challenges or problems. With the eyes of understanding, you can see instead, wealth in form of solutions to that challenge.
There is a 'yes' somewhere waiting to be discovered with every 'no' you get. Don't be so discouraged that you can't see the 'yes' because of the temporary road block the 'no' present. Instead, cry if you need to, but dry your tears so you can see clearly enough to recognise the 'yes' that is sure to follow after the 'no'.
Summer comes after the winter, and the sun after the rain; for weeping endures for the night, but joy cometh in the morning. Ps 30:5
One of the most powerful wealth building principle is the advantage of time. With the passage of time, and the right investment vehicle and environmental, a small seed can become a mighty tree.
Start small
The mustard seed parable is a parable Jesus uses to buttresses the power of starting small and allowing time to happen to your seed. This applies to almost everything in life, including wealth.
Yesterday you were a child, today you have grown to be a man or woman without knowing how. Everything living grows to the extent you tend it. Tend your garden, and you will eat its fruit tomorrow.
When you invest, you should go for the investment tool that can give your seed maximum output or returns.
Scriptures tells us you could have three different kinds of increase when we invest or sow.
You can have the thirty fold reward, the sixty fold reward, and the hundred fold reward; this depends on the kind of risk you are willing to take.
The higher the risk, the better the reward, but its advisable to spread your risk.
Let's look at another key that teaches the principle of starting small and allowing time to happen to the seed. Time and diversification will work wonders for anyone.
There are three levels of risk and we are encouraged to sow our seeds accordingly.
And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? (Luke 13:20).
It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. (Luke 13:21).
A woman took a leaven which she hides in three measures of meal, till it was all leaven!
The above scriptures tells us that we could sow or invest in three categories of investment mechanisms and risk levels:
- Low risk
- Medium risk
- High risk
These risk levels and the corresponding investment vehicle have the potential to give us three kinds of reward (when the whole was levened) when the investment matures. The only thing you should be mindful of is to sow your seed in a good soil. Don't sow in every soil because some soil will choke your seed and kill it. You can pray the Lord to guide you where to sow.
Why Scatter your seed
You need to spread your seed to avoid over exposure and bankruptcy.
Diversification is another word for scattering of your seed. Look for companies with good fundamentals and invest or sow into them. Spread your investment into low, medium and high risk investment vehicles to take advantage of the different products they offer by so doing balancing your exposure.
The above scriptures tells us not to put all your eggs in one basket because we don't know what tomorrow will bring. When you sow your seed just as a farmer scatters his seed in his garden, he leaves it to the power of time, and also ensures that he waters the seed and tend to the garden, with time the seed will produce a crop.
Sow your seed taking advantage of the power of multiplication or compounding of seeds, you will reap a tree that produces several other seeds.
God told Isaac to sow in the land in a period of farming and he got a hundred fold reward.
Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. (Genesis 26:12,)
In famine most people withhold their seeds, because it's a time of great uncertainty, likened to a very high risk investment, but scriptures tells us that God gave him a hundred fold reward thesame year; for the power to make wealth comes from God.
God rewarded him for taking a chance on Him by blessing his seed.
The potential to be anything you want rest solely on you. Of course you will meet with challenges and all manner of road blocks but trust God to keep His word.
You will look back down the road and realise that God is faithful.
Take a chance on God, and you will be amazed at what tomorrow will churn out for you.
God bless.
Shalom!
