Touching the Heart of the Father

Touching the Heart of the Father

Posted on December 25th, 2020 by Redeemed

Act 13: 22; John 14; 13 - 15

The LORD is reaching out to someone today, someone willing to do all it takes to touch the heart of the Father.

How can someone touch the Fathers heart?

It is as simple as living a life of love and total commitment to Him!

Jesus said in John 15: 10; If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

The choice to touch the heart of God and staying obedience to His will is critical to living a successful Christian life.

David was called a man after God’s heart because he was able to touch God’s heart when he lived a life of obedience, and absolutely loved God. He was not ashamed to pour his heart before the LORD in praises and worships.

As a king, David danced almost naked before God and was not ashamed to do so!

He so much loved the LORD that he was completely sold out to pleasing Him alone.

Are you willing to please God with your life?

The LORD is pleased to bless us even as we are careful to obey His Word.

In the book of John chapter 14: 13 - 15, Jesus said he will do whatever we ask in His name so that the Father may be glorified.

It’s the Father’s will to give us the Kingdom, for this will bring Him glory. He wants to display His splendor in us and through us!

Giving is key to receiving from God; not just giving, but giving our hearts and from our hearts!

Love for the Father is demonstrated in our obedience to His command. If we love God, we will do His command; this is the proof of our love! Then we can ask anything of the Father and it will be given us.
