First thing first

There is order to life, one thing precedes the other. Anything that doesn't follow the order of life may not stand the test of time.
God has assured us through His word that we can live life to its fullest if we will just embrace the order He has determined to live a fulfilled life.
He said to live in abundance we must seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness.
What therefore is the kingdom of God?
The kingdom of God is living according to His ways; righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
These things are not grievous but rather, they lead to living a healthy and peaceful life with man and one that honours God.
Seeking God's Kingdom will attract the blessings of God's Kingdom. A life lived doing what is required first will naturally attract to itself other benefits suited to it.
When we prepare the ground well enough whatever seed is sown on the ground will sproute, but if the ground is not broken, how can the seed sown on it grow?
The proper thing to do would be to break our fallow ground paving way for whatever seed grown on it to have a chance to not just grow but thrive.
If we seek first God's Kingdom and righteousness, and He adds all the other things we seek as he promised, we will know how to be guided by the knowledge of what pleases Him and the blessings will not turn to be a curse.
God's Word is like a two edged sword. It can make alive and can also kill. So knowing the principles of God's Kingdom ensures we play by the rules of the Kingdom and also get to reap the benefits of the citizens of the Kingdom, but if we do not know the principles that govern the Kingdom how then do we keep them?
We will treat others just as we would have them treat us if we are aware this is what is required of us. We will not oppress others with the resources He has blessed us with. We will learn to do justice and not take away the right of the less privileged, widows, orphans and foreigners in our midst.
Our actions will be guided by our knowledge of God's Kingdom and principles, for He makes His sun to shine on both the just and wicked alike.
God is pleased to bless us, but He wants us to learn of Him first so that it will be well with us when the blessings come. He doesn't want His blessings to destroy us but rather to live at peace with Him and mankind.
Jesus said all other things will be added to us because the power to make wealth comes from Him. He will command the blessings on us if we will be careful to live as He commands.
His blessings makes us rich and add no sorrow to it.
When God gives, it is without the sorrow. And He has promised to bless if we will just do the first thing needed for Him to command the blessings on us.
God bless.
Peace!
