The Valley of Baca

Blessed are those who find strength in you. Their hearts are on the road that leads to you. [6] As they pass through a valley where balsam trees grow, they make it a place of springs. The early rains cover it with blessings. [7] Their strength grows as they go along until each one of them appears in front of God in Zion.
Life itself is liken to a long journey, starting from when we were born. It doesn't matter where we were born, but what matters is that we are born.
Now the journey begins the moment we take our first breath. The new born baby experience life and acknowledge and register their existence by their first cry. This process strengthens their lungs and the mother get to know that their child is healthy.
Crying at this stage therefore is healthy, and throughout the life of an individual, many tears follows.
A child that does not cry at birth becomes a cause for great concern for the parents and the medical team that supported the mother during the delivery process.
The journey of life takes on a different dimension the moment one becomes a follower of Jesus.
People becomes super critical of everything one does, and there are those who invest their time and energy to hinder the progress of Jesus' follower through accusations, creating barriers, curses and all manner of wickedness. The singular aim is to ensure you don't reach your final destination; which is to appear before God.
Some believers have lend themselves as tools to be used to hinder the progress of God's people. They maybe aware or unaware of this but as long as you pull down instead of building another, you are invariably lending yourself as a tool to hurt the advancement of God's Kingdom here on earth.
Scriptures told us that Joshua the high Priest stood before the angel of the Lord clothed with filthy garments and the devil bringing accusations against him. (Zechariah 3:3).
We are told that the Lord rejected the accusations against Joshua, and no matter the amount of accusations it shall not stand because the righteousness of God covers God's people. We are saved by grace not our works.
We work therefore because we love Him who saved us not our works saving us.
Moses' body was also being contended for after he passed on but the Archangel Michael rebuked the devil in the name of the Lord. (Jude 1:9)
This goes to show that no-one is saved by their works, but rather grace.
This doesn't mean we can't be corrected when we are wrong but that we must be vulnerable to the extent that we acknowledge that God's grace alone is what saves us.
The journey of the believers takes them through different paths and everyone gets to pass through the valley.
At a point in the life of the believer we must all go through the Baca experience.
This valley is also called the valley of weeping. Its a time in the life of the believer when you are confused, unsure of many things, and characterised by much tears - valley of weeping.
We feel abandoned and alone, and sense no one seems to care or understand the pains we are passing through - this may not be true. Some may actually care.
At these moment, we need to be extremely careful because we can start drifting and begin feeling our lives with 'things' that may not be profitable to our growth.
The time spent in the valley of Baca are not wasted times but rather it is the time when believers grow and mature and get to know that our God doesn't abandon His own.
The discipline we receive whilst in this valley helps us grow and mature like the palm trees and blossom as when spring appears and nature displays new life.
Our tears fill this valley and people can choose to come out of this valley blossoming like the Palm trees, like life experiencing spring watered by the showers of our tears (the rain).
Baca can be a deciding point, a point when one may choose to continue in the faith or against it.

Scriptures says, "as they pass through a valley," this valley is peculiar to everyone. Everyone's valley is different from the other person's but the expected end is similar.
Growth, strength and renewal to journey to end where we get to see the face of God should be the expected end.
The valley of Baca, though painful is necessary, its a differentiator, a deciding point where people decides for God or turn their back on Him.
Will you allow troubles to break or make you? Are you part of those who work against and accuse God's people in the name of making a living?
Are you in your valley now, and feels abandoned?
Whatever point you are in your journey toward the throne room, be sure of this; God is right there with you. Your mistakes are not enough for Him to abandon you but rather, He wants you to learn from them and mature, get to know Him better and trust Him enough to live for Him.
A palm tree may bend due to the severe storm it hard to withstand, the position it was planted and it trying to grow towards the sun to receive adequate sunlight for growth but after all the striving it will stand tall and not break even in the fiercest of storms.
One thing that will determine the turn of events as one passes through Baca is how well you know your God, and how much you love Him.
Baca is not a breaking point but rather is a making point. A place where saints or devils are born.
