On fear

The Lord is love, kind, merciful, forgiving, Faithful, mighty but also a consuming fire. His ways are indeed too high for us humans to understand but one thing we can be sure of is His Word stands sure. Today, we take a look at scriptures you can hold onto when afraid.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
