Eternity in mind

6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Lately I keep hearing the words in my spirit, ‘Eternity in mind’. I came to the full realization that life is actually a fleeting moment. I remembered how I was only a child yesterday...
I remember the people I used to admire; some grew to be very powerful people in society, others were celebrities, but today many have passed on; their course fulfilled, their time on earth done.
It makes me wonder what the purpose of life really is; Why is man?
Man indeed is a mystery, one only God who created him can resolve. We see and hear in part as revealed by His Spirit, and some day we will find out by the blast of the trumpet by the seventh angel the mystery of God accomplished, even as He has revealed them to His prophets - though the world has not believed.
Time exist only in the earth realm as I experienced it; there is no sense of time out of it. This becomes a very fearful reality when there is no hope beyond the afterlife; after man passes on, no assurance of been redeemed from the fate that awaits all men.
We are saved by grace not works. If this is so where is the place of works in all of these?
Our faith is expressed through our works, not the reverse. We received so therefore we give in appreciation of what he did for us.
There is no fear in love, for it overcomes all things; the God kind of love.
Eternity stares us in the eyes every moment whether we recognize this or not; It becomes truly important therefore that man live with eternity in view.

Father, in Jesus Christ name I pray.
You said in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I am sorry and repent of all the sins I have committed. Wash me with the blood of your Son Jesus Christ, and make me whole. Write my name in the book of life and give me the power to live for you.
Thank you Father for it is done. Amen.
