Eternity in mind - Part 2
Posted on October 12th, 2022 by RedeemedDaniel 7:9-10
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
When our times are done here on earth and we depart this world, Scriptures tells us we will end up in one of two places where we get to live for eternity.
The old and new testaments testify to the fact that man lives on even after death. Where ever you get to spend your eternity is determined by you.
Daily we make choices as we go about our businesses. Those choices are very important, since we get to answer someday the way we have live!
Sometime ago the Lord allowed me to see me as the book of my life was opened for me. It was grace that saved me - His grace alone. My righteousness would take me nowhere.
I was doomed; then I remembered His Word and reminded Him of what He said in 1st John Chapter 1 verse 9.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The LORD answered and said audibly for I was in the spirit; He said, yes my daughter, that is my Word; and quoted 1John 1:9 again!
I can never forget what His voice was like. Like seven Thunders put together; like the sound of many waters! There was so much Power and Authority in His voice and it filled the entire expanse and my spirit was released to return back to the earth.
I am not telling this to scare anybody but I owe this to humanity, to inform you of the reality of life after death and plan for that.
You can choose to believe or not. My duty and the duty of many like me is to tell you what we have seen and heard; that there is life after death, and that who and what we lived for, and the way we lived here on earth matters.
Who and what we lived for will be a deciding factor to who we get to spend eternity with.
Matthew 10:32-33
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
We are therefore not ashamed to confess Jesus before mankind.
Man is precious to God, and is the reason He sent His Son Jesus Christ to take your place on the Cross, died in your place so you wouldn’t have to die again, resurrected from the grave and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.
Revelation chapter 20: 11 - 15 describes vividly that we will account for the things we have done, but because He is a merciful God, He has also provided a way of escape in the person of His Son Jesus Christ.
Why is it important that you check these things out? Because life is like a vapor, which is today and is gone tomorrow! Once someone died, their fate is sealed forever.
Hebrews 9:27-28
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
Life is temporary and because it’s temporary wisdom demands we pay more attention to the things that are permanent.
God has revealed these things through His Word so we know and decide for ourselves what is best for us.
No one can claim to love us more than the one who created us,and even died for us to redeem us back to the Father when we strayed.
If you truly find the Kingdom (which is the greatest of all treasures), you would have found everything. The enemy will come at you with everything because it is a treasure whose value can’t be measured!
Matthew 13:44-46
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
If you truly found the Kingdom of God, nothing would be too hard to let go because it’s value is worth more than anything you could have acquired here on earth.
What we are looking for God has promised to give us even in a better form and place.
The prophet Daniel saw a glimpse of what will be in time to come.
Daniel 7:18
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
We can count on God’s Word if we will truly seek God and His Kingdom, He promised to give us more than we asked for or imagined.
Luke 18:28-30
Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Yes, you can never loose choosing God either here on earth or in the life to come.
Good bless. Peace!
You can accept Jesus right now if you will, by saying this prayer.
Father, in Jesus Christ name I pray.
You said in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I am sorry and repent of all the sins I have committed. Wash me with the blood of your Son Jesus Christ, and make me whole. Write my name in the book of life and give me the power to live for you.
Thank you Father for it is done. Amen.
